How it's calculated
Used margin is notional (lots × contract × price) divided by leverage. Free margin is balance minus used margin. Margin level is balance divided by used margin as a percentage. The stop-out distance is how much equity can be lost before margin level reaches the broker's stop-out level, converted into points using the point value of your position.
