This policy explains how ConfirmedTrades uses cookies and similar technologies. We currently use only what is strictly necessary to run the service — no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
What cookies we use
- ct_session — a strictly necessary cookie that keeps you signed in. It stores a signed session token, is HttpOnly (not readable by scripts) and expires after 30 days.
- ct_oauth_nonce — a short-lived strictly necessary cookie set only during “Sign in with Google” to protect against cross-site request forgery. It is deleted as soon as sign-in completes.
Local storage
We also store your light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie), so the site remembers how you like it. It never leaves your device.
No tracking or advertising cookies
We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If we introduce advertising for free accounts in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because the cookies above are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from signing in and using your account.
