Embedding verified results on MQL5 and your website: widgets, links and what to put where

ConfirmedTrades team · 5 August 2026 · 7 min read

Show a live, verified EA track record on an MQL5 listing, your own site and forums: the four widget types, PNG vs SVG vs iframe, themes, sizes and placement.

The image is the hook, the page is the proof

Embedding verified results on MQL5 and your website is a two-part job, and forex robot vendors tend to do half of it. A widget is a hook: a small live card that catches a buyer's eye on a listing, a landing page or a forum signature. The proof is the verified account page it links to, with the trust label, the account type, the drawdown record and the Execution panel. A widget without the link is a prettier screenshot. A link without the widget gets fewer clicks. Use both.

Everything below is free on the Free plan at one widget; higher plans add more widgets and remove the ConfirmedTrades branding. Widgets only render while the account is published (Link or Public), and they update themselves, so a buyer looking at your listing in November sees November's numbers.

The four widget types

From the Widgets tab in the account's Settings window, or the Widgets page in the dashboard, you pick one of four.

The embeddable widget shapes, at their real proportionsStats cardGrowth miniStats inlineEquity curveEach one renders as a PNG, an SVG or a live iframe, in light, dark or transparent, and every one links back to the verified page behind it.
The widget family at its real proportions. The image is only the hook — each one carries a link back to the verified page, which is where a sceptical buyer actually gets convinced.
  • Stats card (608 × 320): the headline numbers on one card. The default, and the right choice for a listing or a landing page hero.
  • Stats inline (608 × 96): a single strip. Fits a forum signature, an email footer or the top of a product page without taking over.
  • Equity curve (608 × 280): the growth line. Best where the reader already trusts you and wants the shape; weakest as a first impression, because a curve alone is exactly what buyers have learned to distrust.
  • Monthly returns (608 × 280): the month grid. Surprisingly persuasive to experienced buyers, because it shows the red months too, and a grid with a few reds reads as real.

PNG, SVG or iframe

Each widget comes as a PNG or SVG image at 1×, 2× or 3× scale, in Dark, Light or Transparent, and you copy the link, Markdown or HTML from the same panel. There is also an interactive embed, an iframe, that can follow the visitor's light or dark theme automatically, and a Download button that saves a static image for the places that accept uploads only.

Where each one fits: MQL5 market listings and most forums take an image URL or Markdown and nothing more, so use the PNG link at 2× for crisp rendering on high-density screens. Your own website can take the iframe, which is the best experience because it follows the theme and stays interactive. Use SVG where you control the page and want the card to stay sharp at any width. Use Download only where a live URL is not allowed, and accept that the downloaded image is frozen the moment you save it.

A live-URL image is the point. If a platform lets you paste an image URL, never upload a static file instead; the static one is a screenshot with a ConfirmedTrades logo on it.

Themes: match the host, not your taste

Dark on a dark site and Light on a light one is obvious. Transparent is the one that repays a moment's thought: it draws ink with no background, so the card sits on whatever colour the host page has. It is the right choice for a listing page whose background you do not control and whose theme you cannot predict, and for forum signatures. On your own site, the iframe's auto theme does the same job better.

MQL5 market listing, specifically

A listing has a description, screenshots and a place for links. Put the Stats card PNG among the screenshots, where it sits next to the strategy-tester images buyers are used to and looks different in a way they will notice. In the description, put the direct link to the verified account page near the top, with one line saying what it is: "Live, broker-verified record, updated automatically; drawdown and execution costs shown." Buyers who have read spotting fake EA results know what that sentence means.

Your ConfirmedTrades profile can be linked from the listing, and anyone who reaches your public page and then signs up counts toward your referral roles, so the link does more than one job. The URL carries a permanent ID, so renaming the account or your handle later will not break it.

Your own website

A landing page for an Expert Advisor usually has a hero, a features section and a results section. The results section is where the iframe embed of the Stats card goes, with a Monthly returns widget below it for the buyers who scroll. Link both to the account page. If you sell several trading bots, a portfolio page with its own embed rolls all the accounts into one combined view, and each account keeps its own page for the buyer who wants one product's record on its own.

Keep the copy near the widget short and specific. Account type and broker class, the date the record started, and one sentence on costs from your execution audit. Let the card carry the numbers; your job is context.

Forum posts and signatures

Stats inline at 1× in Transparent is built for this. It is 96 pixels tall, survives most signature size limits, and shows the same live numbers as the big card. Forum readers are the most cynical audience you have, so the link to the verified page matters more here than anywhere. A signature that says "verified live record" and links to a page that says Broker-verified and Real is the rare forum claim that checks out.

What a widget will not hide

A widget is a window onto the published page, and the page's rules apply after the click. Your Glance hub, with its drawdown and month calendar, is always shown. Your privacy controls (reveal delay, open-positions mode, column picker) apply to visitors who arrive through the widget exactly as to anyone else. And if you take the account Private, every widget goes blank wherever you embedded it, which is the clearest signal to a buyer that something changed. Sharing your results covers the full set of controls the widget hands off to.

One blunt trade-off: a clean widget without branding needs a paid plan. On Free, the card carries the ConfirmedTrades mark. For a seller, that mark is doing work, because it tells the buyer where to go to check, so do not treat removing it as the first upgrade to buy.

Do it in one place

On ConfirmedTrades, every published account shows its verification badges, an AI strategy analysis that flags martingale, grid and missing stop-losses, the full drawdown and risk stats, and execution costs per symbol — so you can vet a strategy before you trust it, or prove your own.
